Keep in mind that this is a difficult road in itself and a decent vehicle is required. At the time of this writing, the cost to enter was only $10.00 per person. And trust us when we say that is an absolute steal for the gorgeous views and incredible hot springs.
The area is clothing optional, so you are within your rights to strip at the car and walk in the nude to the hot springs. You may encounter those fully clothed who might look a bit shocked at the sight of nude hikers, but you are fine. Once at the springs, find yourself an optimal sight and rest for the day allowing the hot springs to do their magic on your body! You can use this map to find the best directions to this stunning area.
If you plan to enjoy the area overnight, it may be best to reserve a camping spot in the park. The nearest hotel is about an hour and a half drive. There is no legal camping directly around the springs, but people still do it. I would suggest just getting a legitimate campsite in San Bernardino National Forest and enjoy an evening under the stars.
San Diego County Nude Beaches
Black’s Beach
If you are looking to get nude on a beach in Southern California, your best option is always going to be Black’s Beach. The majority of the beach is located in Torrey Pines State Park, where it is legal to be fully nude. However, the southern section of the beach is situated in San Diego County, where it is not as legal. However, it is generally tolerated and accepted that people are going to be nude on this beach. However, if you want to play it safe, it is best to stay on the legally nude section.
