Are you searching for the best nude beach San Diego has to offer?

If you have been seeking out the best nude beach San Diego has to offer, check out one of the following!

Let’s Find The Best Nude Beach San Diego Has!

Black’s Beach

One of the most popular beaches you are going to find in the Southern California area is Black’s Beach. Considering there are not a lot of clothing-optional beaches in the San Diego area, it is obvious to see why this one is so popular. Also, you want to keep in mind that the southern section of Black’s Beach is not technically nudist, however, people still enjoy the area sans swimsuits. You can check out this map to ensure you get to the right beach!

If you plan to be in the area for a few days and would like to stay as close to Black’s Beach as possible, I would suggest either the Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa or Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines to be as close to the beach as possible. Both are a few minutes drive to the beach, but it is still well worth it. Of course, you are going to work up an incredible appetite with all of that nude sunbathing. So, for an incredible diner, you will want to make reservations at A.R. Valentien. The caramelized sea scallops are like none you have ever had in your life!

Boneyard Beach

Boneyard Beach is another of the best nude beaches San Diego has to offer, in an unofficial capacity though. The beach is in a secluded area, far below the the bluffs of Encinitas. Due to the difficulty of reaching the beach and its overall secluded location, it has built a reputation as a rather safe nude beach in the San Diego area.

Keep in mind that this general location is very popular on the weekends as people make their way from D Street Beach and Swami’s. Not all of these people are that interested in seeing nude people in public. So if you want to play it safe in San Diego, you may want to try Boneyard Beach on the weekday if at all possible. You can find the most updated map of Boneyard Beach and the surrounding area here.

If you will be staying throughout the week, you may want to book a room at the Moonlight Hotel. Not only is it a 3-minute drive to Boneyard Beach, but it is really close to Moonlight Overlook. There are plenty of local restaurants in the area for a quick lunch or hearty dinner. You may want to try Herb & Sea for incredible seafood or The Taco Stand, there is also an In and Out Burger a short drive from Boneyard Beach. I will tell you, after a day on the beach nothing is going to taste as good as a cool Gelato from Gelato 101.

While there are not many nude beaches to choose from in the San Diego area, these two are fantastic options. We would love to hear your nude beach reports in regards to Black’s Beach and Boneyard Beach!
